On Thursday Nov 4, 2010, 12 noon Bike Long Beach is very pleased to host Jeremy Nelson of Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates at Studio 111 in downtown Long Beach for a brief look at what’s going on in innovative ped-bike planning policy and projects in Northern California.

We invite you to bring your sack lunch and join us for a presentation that promises to be both informative and inspirational. Nelson/Nygaard is one of the premiere transportation consulting firms in the U.S. with an emphasis on mobility, accessibility and sustainability.

Jeremy has ten years of experience in the field with extensive knowledge of interactions of land use and development patterns, transportation systems, and public health outcomes. Jeremy is a member of the American Planning Association, Progressive Planners Network, Urban Land Institute, San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, Walk San Francisco and Rescue Muni.
