Dems for President to Talk Environment in LA

Grist, the nation’s leading environmental blog, and a who’s-who of heavy hitters in the environmental community are sponsoring a debate for the Democratic presidential candidates in the Wadsworth Theatre on Saturday, November 17th. It will be interesting to see if any of the top tier presidential candidates tackle the need to reduce automobile dependency. I’ll have a full analysis of Senator Clinton’s plan (linked in the clips) on Monday.

It looks like registration for the event is already full, but they do have a waiting list. If I know environmental groups like I think I do, they’ll find a way to get everyone that wants to see the candidates access. To read more about the debate and to get on the waiting list, click here.
