Envisioning Green LA Kicks off with Gordon Price

Vancouver’s Skyline

The Envisioning Green Los Angeles Speakers Series kicks off with lectures and a bike tour from Gordon Price, a former Vancouver City Councillor. Price will show us how Vancouver recreated itself as an urban model for Eco Density. Price’s lectures have been described to me (not by someone associated with these events) as the "most interesting lectures on urban design" he’d ever seen.
The main event will be a reception and talk on Monday, February 11 at 5:30 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. There is a suggested donation ($10 general, $5 students, low income, or anyone arriving by transit, bike or walking) but no one will be turned away because they cannot pay.
In addition to the evening event on the 11th, there are three other appearances:
Sunday February 10th – Bike Tour 2pm
Monday February 11th – Long Beach Talk 2:30pm

RSVPs appreciated, but not required. Email jlinton@livableplaces.org or call 213.622.5980.
