This Sunday marks the 9th Annual L.A. River Ride, the premier fundraiser for the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.  The River Ride has six rides, with six different start times, and six different distances for riders of all ages and skill levels.  Combining registration for the rides, the River Ride attracts thousands of riders every year.  To check out some images from last year’s ride, visit the Streetsblog Flickr page.

The first ride to leave the Griffith Park starting point begins at 7:00 A.M. and will travel 50 miles all the way to Long Beach before heading back to the Park.  Other rides will be 70 miles, 50 miles, 36 miles and 10 miles.  There will also be a "bike rodeo" for some of our smaller riders.
