Next Friday at 7:00 P.M., the second Los Angeles Streetsblog fundraiser will roll out of the Flying Pigeon Bike Shop (3714 Figueroa Street) at 7:00 P.M.  We’ll be doing a relaxed pace, nearly-ten-mile ride visiting many of the former transit stops of the old trolley cars in Northeast L.A.  You can see our probably route here, but to find out why certain stops were selected, you’re going to have to join us.

The cost of the ride is $10 per person, $10 for the after party or $15 for both.  But look, it’s a ride on public streets and we’re not going to turn people away.  As with the last fundraiser, all funds raised will go directly into paying for freelancers and back in to the L.A. community.  The after party should start at around 9:00 P.M. and will feature handing out more Streetsies to three Streetsblog super stars, some Streetfilm viewings, food and drink, and the best company you can find Northeast of the Bike Oven.  In addition to the Flying Pigeon Bike Shop, this event is also sponsored by Trader Joe’s, Clif Bar and Luna Bar.

As for RSVP’s, you can do it here, the Facebook page, or just show up!  To steal a phrase, I’ll see you on the Streets.
