What Can CicLAvia Learn from Sunday Streets

After a hard weekend at Transportation Camp, I set off for Sunday Streets, San Francisco’s version of CicLAvia.  While we were walking down the center of the street in Embarcadero, we ran into Stephen Villavaso, one of the Board Members and brain children of CicLAvia.  We chatted for a couple of minutes about how great these types of events are, and then the transportation engineer in Villavaso came out and he broke down some of the things CicLAvia can learn from Sunday Streets.

Even if you’re not interested in listening to Stephen and I chat, turn down the sound for a second and watch us standing in the street and talking as people walk and bike right past us.

CicLAvia is just three weeks away.  Tick tock.
