Just in case you thought we under-did it on the whole “love” theme today (we could have changed the logo to pink for a day), here’s one last Valentine’s Day note.  Via our friends at Livable Communities comes a Valentine’s Day love video…to Long Beach.  The film was edited by our old friend, Drew Reed.

In it, new arrival Katie Taylor professes her love for her new home.  The chemical engineer doesn’t just love her new home, she loves the changes living in Long Beach has made to her life.

I hadn’t ridden a bike since I was ten years old.  So it was here when I was driving around and I saw all these people on beach cruisers, women on dresses on a bike, and I thought, “I want to be outside, and enjoy the nice weather and be on a bicycle that is fun and relaxing.”  So I picked up a bicycle on 4th of July and loved…love every minute of it.
