Video: Damien, Metro’s Sotero, LAFD’s Mathis, and Times’ Bloomekatz Talk Carmageddon and the Rising Bike Movement

This morning, the Los Angeles Times hosted Streetsblog’s Damien Newton, Metro Spokesman Dave Sotero and the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Alicia Mathis for a conversation about Carmageddon and the rising green transportation movement in Los Angeles. The talk was hosted by the Times’ transportation writer, Ari Bloomekatz. The video takes about a half hour, and is worth a watch not just because of Streetsblog’s involvement, but because it shows how far the conversation has moved since last year.
