Streetsblog Invites the Mayoral Candidates to Answer Questions on Film

Emanuel Pleitez has already accepted. Which of the other four candidates is willing to join us on film? Photo: ##http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/01/los-angeles-mayoral-race-democratic-endorsement.html##Allen J. Schaben / Los Angeles Times##

Los Angeles Streetsblog, in partnership with Occidental College’s Urban and Environmental Policy Program, and advocacy groups including the Bus Riders Union, Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition, Los Angeles Walks, and Southern California Transit Advocates has invited each of the five leading candidates for Mayor of Los Angeles to appear in their own film answering questions posed by each of our partners.

Moments ago, Streetsblog contacted the press offices for Eric Garcetti, Wendy Greuel, Kevin James, Jan Perry, and Emanuel Pleitez with a formal offer. Once a candidate accepts, we’ll email them the questions so they can prepare their answers. Moments after the first email went out Pleitez’s campaign team responded that they would be happy to meet with us.

Which of the four remaining candidates is willing to join us? Only time will tell.

(Update, 4:55 p.m.: Kevin James is in too!)
(Update, 1/11/13: Jan Perry is in!)
(Update 1/12/13: Eric Garcetti is in….so is Wendy Greuel!)
