Streetsblog TV: The Full Presentation by Gabe Klein Last Week at City Hall

In case you weren’t able to attend last week, or watch our Live Broadcast on Streetsblog TV, Streetsblog has put together a playlist of the entire presentation by former Chicago and Washington, D.C. DOT chief Gabe Klein.

In addition to discussing bike share and some of the changes that occurred in both cities under his leadership; Klein also discussed the importance of seizing a vision and working towards it.

Given the rapid growth of the Chicago Riverwalk from vision to project nearly under construction; one can’t help but believe the Expo Bike Path would already be built if it were a Gabe Klein project. Instead, while the rail line is over half built, the bike path is not even out of the design phase after several years.
