Walk or Bike to Celebrate Los Angeles’ Birthday

Los Angeles is turning 233! Join us in celebrating the birthday of our favorite city by recreating the historic journey undertaken by the founding pobladores.

Walking: The 9-mile walk will begin at the San Gabriel Mission at 6 a.m. Free shuttles will be bringing participants back to the starting point at the end of the walk.

Bike ride: Helmets are mandatory! Safety comes first as we head into the second year of the birthday bike ride! Participants of all ages are welcome to join in the ride, which will be leaving from San Gabriel Mission at 7:30 a.m.

Celebration: What’s a birthday without some cake? A celebration in honor of L.A.’s 233rd birthday will take place at El Pueblo Historical Monument at 10 a.m.
