“The project approvals for the new Wilshire Grand Center included $9.175 million in offsite streetscape improvements geared toward enhancing pedestrian and multi-modal access on the project’s key corridor: 7th Street from the 110 freeway east to Olive Street, and the Wilshire Boulevard bridge.

“A project team has been created by the developer in partnership with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to envision the best use of the funds to enhance the areas around the project. Key facets of the plan may include sidewalk enhancements, better integration of the transportation modes serving 7th Street, intersection improvements, street lighting and wayfinding.
