Tuesday is election day! Streetsblog encourages registered voters in the city of L.A. to vote no on Measure S.

• Tuesday 3/7 – It is Election day. In what the L.A. Times called “the most important decision L.A. voters will make March 7” Streetsblog L.A. endorses a no vote on Measure S. Read earlier coverage to find out why. For other measures, check endorsements at Bike the Vote, KPCC, or L.A. Times. Turnout is generally very low during these non-presidential elections, so every vote is critical. To volunteer, go to Vote No on S.
• Saturday 3/11 – Metro hosts a Spanish-language tour of the art and architecture of Union Station. The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. at the information booth near the Alameda Street front entrance to Union Station at 800 N. Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles. Details at Facebook event.
• Sunday 3/12 – C.I.C.L.E. will host their annual Tweed Ride, featuring lots of cyclists riding old-fashioned clothes, riding old-fashioned velocipedes. Tweed rides take place all over the world, and L.A.’s is certainly worth taking in. The free ride starts at noon at Union Station, 800 N. Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles. • Sunday 3/26 – CicLAvia hosts its free car-free festival CicLAvia – Culver City meets Venice.
