• Tuesday 7/4 – Independence Day! Streetsblog will not be publishing.
• Wednesday 7/5 – Vision Zero L.A. is hosting a public hearing for input on proposed safety improvements fro Pico Blvd between Union and Western Avenues in Pico-Union/Koreatown. The meeting takes place from 5-7 p.m. at Seoul International Park (Ardmore Park) at 3250 San Marino Street in Koreatown. Details at Facebook event.
• Thursday 7/6 – Metro Bike Share is turning one! Celebrate bike-share’s birthday at a happy hour party from 6-8 p.m. at The Wheelhouse at 1375 E. 6th Street in the downtown Los Angeles Arts District. Food! Prizes! and more! Details at Facebook event.
• Friday 7/7 – St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church is in West L.A. is holding a transit party for its monthly “Family Fun Night.” The event will feature a presentation from LA Metro, rides on the Santa Monica The Big Blue Bus, and a bike safety presentation by LACBC! And Damien will be there. The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. at 11555 National Boulevard. More info on Facebook.
