Last week, you probably noticed that we added a new advertisement to our sidebar, so allow me a moment to welcome the law firm of Gordon, Edelstein, Krepack, Grant, Felton and Goldstein as our second regular advertising sponsor.  You may remember Howard Krepack from an interview we did with him last month and you may recognize “GEK-Law” from their years of bike advocacy.

I first met Krepack after an introduction from Ross “Dude on a Bike” Hirsch, the bike riding attorney and organizer of the MidDay Ridazz and long time friend of Streetsblog.  It took only a couple of minutes of searching to realize that this firm was a perfect fit for the kind of advertisers we’re hoping to attract.

The firm has a long history of supporting bicycle advocacy groups and pushing for safe streets for all users.

Of course, they’re not just good advocates, but they have a pretty good legal record as well.

I’d also like to thank our first advertiser, the Flying Pigeon Bike Shop found on North Figueroa Street in Northeast Los Angeles for sticking with us in to the new year. I think their advertisements are a lot better than the ones we saw earlier last year. The new ones are pretty snazzy.
