Reminder: Visit us at the Library Alehouse on August 30!

As we get closer and closer to our next fundraiser, an all-day affair at the Library Alehouse, 2911 Main Street in Santa Monica on August 30, we’re going to ask for your help to help get the word out.  This being a website, the easiest way to give us a hand would be to spread the word via Twitter, Facebook or good old fashioned email about the event itself.

Download the flyer in all its 8.5/11 glory ##http://bit.ly/oibPFx##right here.##

Of course to do that, you’ll need information on the amazing raffles and prizes, fabulous New Belgium Brewing dring specials and our special luncheon with Santa Monica City Council Woman Pam O’Connor. You can either access that information on our Facebook page or our calendar section.  If Twitter or Facebook is your preference to get the word out, we have short links for the event here: http://on.fb.me/nroRVm

But we’re not leaving any stone unturned.  Apparently before the Internet existed, people used to print flyers for events and physically post them on bulletin boards and such.  I know it sounds weird, but it used to be all the rage.  On that note, we created a poster for the event that you can download and print yourself if you so choose.

But more importantly than just spreading the word, we want to see you at the Alehouse.  All you have to do to help us out is show up and order something.  1o% of all they sell on the 30th goes straight to Streetsblog!

Before we finish for today, we need to give a loud “thank you” to all our auction sponsors!
