Made In L.A. Bicycle Tour

On Saturday, September 17th, C.I.C.L.E. (Cyclists Inciting Change thru LIVE Exchange) will lead their Urban Expedition group ride, “Made in LA”. This expedition, open to all cyclists, will navigate the streets of downtown and expose riders to institutions that pride themselves on products, you guessed it, made in the City of Angels. These stops include visits to Homeboy Industries, El Pato Factory, and the Angel City Brewery.

The tour will be 8 miles, leisurely paced and family-friendly.

Where: Meet at the Los Angeles State Historic Park (1245 N Spring St.). For easy access to the park, utilize the Metro Gold Line Chinatown station. Look for us in the parking area connected to the southern entrance of the park.

When: Riders will meet at 1:00pm and the ride will promptly begin at 1:30pm.

Price: Free

Who: You and all your friends!

What to bring: Your bicycle (in good running order). All participants should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting. All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride.

Join us for this fun and interesting look at products made in LA!
