The Week in Livable Streets Events

Monday – AEG will make a presentation to the City Council’s ad-hoc stadium committee focusing on transportation and traffic issues.  At this point, there’s no hand outs or other back up materials available to the public.  The meeting starts at 8:30 A.M. in City Hall.  Get the details, here.

Tuesday – SCAG’s Toolbox Tuesdays is back with a session on Parking Systems Management.  You can join them in their Downtown offices or online.  All the details are here.

Wednesday – The City Council Transportation Committee meets with a pretty ho-hum agenda, except for the small matter of allocating $200,000 to insure that CicLAvia has a healthy 2012.  The meeting starts at 2:00 in the Downtown City Hall.  Get the details, here.

Friday-Sunday – Santa Monica’s annual expo of the best in more environmentally friendly cars rides again.  Non-profit row is a good place to see a lot of L.A.’s best transit advocates.  Get the details, here.

Friday – Critical Mass rides again.  Wilshire/Western.  Ride leaves at 7:00.
