Pasadena Mobility Element Update Workshops

The future of driving, biking, walking, and riding public transit in Pasadena is being shaped now, and the Pasadena Department of Transportation would like residents to help by sharing thoughts about it at one of four upcoming community workshops.

Pasadena is currently updating parts of its General Plan, including the “Mobility Chapter,” which contains policies and objectives to help guide the safe and efficient movement of people and goods through Pasadena, while also maintaining access to transportation that serves the region.

The workshops will include different interactive stations to explore, and the opportunity for participants to ask questions and provide comments.  “Community input is vital in helping shape Pasadena’s transportation policies, so we can have a healthier and more economically vibrant community,” said Fred Dock, Director of Transportation.  “We’re hoping for a big turnout.”
