High Desert Corridor Project Update

The High Desert Corridor is Moving Along

The project proposes to link SR-14 in Los Angeles County with SR-18 in San Bernardino County. This connection would link some of the fastest growing residential, commercial, and industrial growth areas in Southern California, including the cities of Palmdale, Lancaster, Adelanto, Victorville and the Town of Apple Valley.

The Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report is expected to be available for public review late 2013.

Join Us to Learn the Latest

You’re invited to attend an open house to hear about the latest project developments, including the most recent Metro Board action recognizing the HDC as a Strategic Multipurpose Corridor that can potentially accommodate a highway, a green energy production and/or transmission facility and a high speed rail feeder service line with potential connections to the Metrolink station in Palmdale and an XpressWest Station in Victorville.

Please attend the meeting that is most convenient for you; the material presented in all meetings will be identical.
