These are exciting times as we watch more and more people back Santa Monica Next at our Kick Starter page. Thanks to a grant this morning from Santa Monica Commissioner Richard McKinnon, we are now at 18% of our goal with 26 days left. We’re on our way, but still need your help to reach our end goal.

Following our announcement last week, there are two pieces of news for Santa Monica Next supporters.

First, we had to change the date of our fundraiser. Due to a scheduling conflict with Tour Da Art, we are moving our fundraiser into September. The new date and time is September 22 from 11:30 until 3:30 pm. All other details remain the same. You can RSVP on Facebook, but we do have a space limit so reserve your space now by donating at our Kick Starter page.

Second, we’ll be at Tour Da Arts, handing out information about the new website, selling merchandise and accepting donations. If you have yet to meet either me or Gary, be sure to look for us.
