Just how out of date is the city’s bike plan?

It probably doesn’t seem that long since LA updated its official bike plan…after all how much can happen in six years…but According to LADOT, the current plan too old to qualify for any more funds from the state’s Bicycle Transportation Account in the 2008-2009 funding cycle.

And what should government leaders do when their transportation plans are out of date? Why, just re-pass the old plans

It does say at the bottom of the document from LADOT that the Department of Planning is working on a new plan, but other details aren’t provided.
