This is to inform you that the next
Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting for the County’s Bikeway
Master Plan (Plan) has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 17th. 
The meeting details are as follows:

Time & Date:  02/17/2010;  7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Location: Board Overflow Room (across from Cafeteria)

3rd Floor, Metro Headquarters

Purpose: 
The materials to be presented at the first round of community meetings
and suggestions for improving the public outreach strategy for the
Plan.  Please visit http://www.lacountybikeplan.org
for more information on the Plan.  The final meeting agenda will be
sent out by February 12th.  A draft agenda is included for your
reference.  Please let us know if you have any recommendation for
topics to discuss at the meeting by February 10th.

Bicycle Parking:
Parking is available on level 1 of the parking lot.  If you enter using
the Vignes Street parking ramp, look right and you will see a sign
pointing towards the bike parking.  Use the pedestrian walkway since
the driveway gate has limited access.  Follow the directions towards a
large fish tank, and the bike parking will be noticeable when near the
fish tank.  If you use the Alameda Street entrance, go through the
train tunnel towards the Transit Plaza. When you reach the fish tank,
turn left for the bike parking.  From the bike parking enter the Metro
Building by using the elevators marked “MTA Elevators” and go to the
3rd floor.

Transit:
Metro Rail Lines: Gold, Purple, and Red; by Metrolink; and by Metro bus
lines: 40, 42, 68, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79, 333, 378, 439, 442, 445, 447,
485, 487, 489, 704, 728, 740, 745, 770, and Silver Line.

Car Parking: Use the Vignes Street entrance to enter Metro parking lot.  The parking fee is $6.
