Man, what a week to pick for a comeback!  No City Council, no Metro Board meetings.  Whatever will I write about?

Monday -This is the last day that Metro will accept comments over e-mail on the proposed service changes that would go into effect this December.  You can read about the proposed changes and how to comment on Metro’s website, here.

Wednesday – The LACBC holds their monthly mixer at their office in DTLA.  For details, click here.

Wed-Thurs. -Metro provides an update to Eastsiders and other interested parties on the scoping and station planning for the Second Eastside Extension of the Gold Line.  For meeting information, click here.

Wed. – Sun. – There’s not enough space to write about all of the great events that make up this year’s festival.  Just go to the Bicycle Film Festival L.A. page and check them out for yourself.

Thursday – The SCAG Regional Council will be taking up the
California Air Resources Board staff recommendation of a 13% per capita
reduction in GHG emissions for the region by 2035.  Climate Plan is organizing people to come out and testify at the meeting, and we’ll have an opinion piece from them before the meeting, but in the meantime get some details in our calendar section.
