Tuesday – The City of Los Angeles’ Bicycle Advisory Committee meets at 7:00 P.M. in the Hollywood Neighborhood Center.  As you’d expect, there’s a log on the agenda: LAPD Relations, the Bike Plan, education…For the full agenda, click here.

Wednesday – The City Council Transportation Committee meets at 2:00 P.M. in City Hall.  The agenda includes Measure R funds, car parking issues and more.  We’ll cover this more in-depth a little later, but in the meantime check out the agenda, here.

Thursday – The Metro Board of Directors meets.  The end of the year schedule is usually a busy one, and if nothing else a decision on the Locally Preferred Alternative for the Wilshire Bus Only Lanes should be approved.  The agenda is not yet online, but when it is, we’ll have a full preview.

Thursday – The CicLAvia team meets in South L.A. to discuss bringing CicLAvia to South L.A.  Seems like a good place to meet.  Get the details, here.

Friday – The Midnight Ridazz All-City Toy Ride is probably the most impressive bike ride in the city.  Hundreds (thousands?) of riders descend on Olvera Street.  And they bring toys.  Lots of them.  To benefit served by The Alliance for Children’s Rights.  Where do you live?  There’s rides leaving from the Eastside, Westside, NELA, San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley, Long Beach, Mid-City, Hollywood, and Pasadena.
