Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Rideshare Fair

When: Wednesday, April 20, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Where: Sylmar

An estimated 300-500 employees will be attending this event promoting carpooling, using public transportation, and cycling to work.

Los Angeles Air Force Base Earth Day Celebration

Where: Thursday, April 21, 10 AM to 2PM

When: El Segundo

The festival will be promoting ridesharing, bicycle commuting, and other ways to go green.

Santa Monica College Earth Day Festival

When: Thursday, April 21, 11:15 AM to 1 PM

Where: Santa Monica

Earth Day Festival & Teach-In, featuring eco-themed music and art, vegan food, and an eco-friendly digital photo booth. More info.

Wilshire Center Earth Day – Car-Free Day

When: Friday, April 22, 6:00 PM
Where:
Los Angeles

The event will feature a movie screening of the director’s cut of Avatar, face painting, e-waste recycling, fruit tree adoption, LAPD Youth Program Performance of the Color Guard, community organization booths, environmentally-friendly organization booths and more. More info.

EarthFest Concert in the Park for the Environment & Expo

When: Saturday, April 23, 10 AM – 6 PM

Where: Culver City

This year’s festival includes a host of free activities for the entire family, each centered around relevant environmental topics. Get ready to rock, jazz and rhythm and blues at the Jazz Concert in the Park for the Environment, featuring Paul Brown and Jessy J. More info.
