Monday-Wednesday – The Southern California Association of Governments continues its public outreach for the upcoming regional transportation plan.  Lobbying SCAG can be a little “in the weeds” but the agency helps set standards for Greenhouse Gas deductions and helps determine how some federal dollars are spent.  The meeting in Downtown L.A. was last week, but there are meetings in Carson City, Santa Clara and Santa Monica this week.  Get the details, here.

Tuesday – This week’s scheduled speaker at the Transit Coalition Monthly Meeting is David Alba, the Project Manager for GRID/ECSTC Systems.  The meeting starts at 6:45 at Phillipe’s the Original.  Get more details, here.

Tuesday, Thursday – Metro hosts public meetings on extending the Green Line to LAX.  The Thursday meeting is in Downtown L.A., so all you Downtown transit guys have easy access to a meeting.  Get the details, here.
