Meeting with Valley LAPD to Discuss Bike Safety Issues

Our Valley meeting with LAPD is tomorrow Tuesday evening, 6:00 p.m. at the LAPD Van Nuys Division Police Station, 6240 Sylmar Avenue, Van Nuys (818-374-9500) in the Roll Call room.  If you haven’t already sent a RSVP, please do so now so your name is on the list at the desk.
DIRECTIONS
Enter up the stairs from the Mall entrance (west side of the building) and you will be escorted down to the Roll Call room where we will be meeting.  There is bicycle parking next door to the west at the Van Nuys Branch Library but not at the Police Station (something we need to work on!).  There is street parking on Delano Street to the south and Sylvan Street to the north (take the walkway in from either street).  The meters are NOT enforced after 6:00 p.m. east of Sylmar Avenue nor after 4:00 p.m. even further east for those arriving early.  (NOTE:  West of Sylmar Avenue, closer to Van Nuys Blvd., the meters are enforced until 8:00 p.m.)  The LAPD Station is a few blocks north of the Orange Line Busway Van Nuys stop.
ADDITIONAL ATTENDEES
Yes, you may still invite additional persons to attend as our seating capacity is 50.  Please have them RSVP though.
QUESTIONS?
I should be able to respond to any questions until about 5:30 p.m. just prior to the meeting.
